“Do I think I am changing anything by posting these blogs? Yes I did… Now let me ask you a question. Have you ever seen people wounded and there lives changed for the worse at the hands of leadership? What did you do about it? And if you did, did leadership make amends and give an apology? Ultimately this is an a issue of accountability or the lack thereof, if there were proper measures in place people wouldn’t get hurt at the rate that it happens. Leadership thinks they are God’s gift to us and they feel as though they do not have to tell us how OUR money is spent with bottom line figures. Sorry, but they are HIDING BEHIND CHURCH AND STATE LAWS. And it needs to stop. All not for profit charitable organizations must make their financial statements available upon request. The only reason that the church doesn’t is because of the constitution of the U.S., which I happen to agree with (the constitution that is). However, it is the responsibility of the church goers to put pressure on dictator like Pastors when they get off the beaten path. And that’s my God given right and I will exercise it. This Is where God has placed me and he has allowed me to see people hurt so it is my responsibility to do the Christ like thing and expose them. You say I shouldn’t say anything and and just tell God? That’s not healthy if you ask me, I’ll pray and ask God for help and then DO whatever I can…And I feel strangely empowered as a result of it and I think others who have posted might feel the same way. It’s frowned upon to talk about these things at Church so it’s like, wow, I’m not crazy other people feel the same way… Listen, I’m not that important here, look at the other posts by more reasonable, mature Christians who are not ‘angry’ or ‘bitter’ and even though they don’t have the same tone as me, they are pretty much are saying the same thing. But like Jack Nicholas said ” you want the truth, but you can’t handle the truth!”…”
