“Mr. Baloney you need to really reflect on what it means to be in a New Testament Church and under spiritual authority. When Jesus whipped the pharisees because they were turning his house into a market do you think He would have said to the congregants who attended ” Its ok now, you can go and give your money to my representatives, the pharisees, and sit under their leadership!” I think not! Bottom line is Pastor Jim Cymbala needs to repent for not being financially transparent with the people. The Church gets millions of dollars in donations and there is no in house boards or committees. They have dummy boards set up so that they meet the conditions of the consolidation company that helped bail us out of the of financial ruin we were in 3 yrs ago. The people who are on the board have never met one time! That’s a farce in itself! If the Brooklyn tabernacle wants to prove that there is no financial impropriety going on I challenge the chief financial officer Steve Rhoads to print out the The 2007 financial statements and make them accessible to the church at the front desk! Believe me it ain’t happening! I take that back because all things are possible in Christ Jesus. But unfortunately it might be too late. It’s very sad because BT has some great Christlike members That Jim Cymbala seems to take pleasure in berating and humiliating in leaders meetings (see financial post above).”
