You should not feel so smug. In fact, you helped create this atmosphere by not confronting injustice. You have witnessed the deception first hand and have retreated to your prayer closet.
No, there is not a leader among you, but that is by design. The puppet master has the pastoral staff he wants, with one more on the way. Maybe that one will bring about change.
I will not bother pointing out the biblical standards for leadership, those verses are quite familiar. Your problem is one of application, not information.
Will you apply the truth?
Do you dare to confront Cymbala, or has the sight of human wreckage left a bad taste in your mouths? There is no microphone here, no lights to dim, no organ. You are unable to get us to close our eyes or turn to our neighbors. You are being called out this time.
Will you respond?
Why do you allow him to continue?
Why the nepotism?
Why the racism?
Why secrecy regarding the finances?
Why is dissent silenced by these foolish labels? Are we all cowards, gossips, grammatically ignorant, being used by Satan? Maybe the truth is attempting to shine light on some dark corners. Maybe you could use some light.
