The stuff on this site is disgusting. JC how could you do these things? I wouldn’t have ever known these evil abuses were happening ‘behind the scenes’ without these brave people giving testimony to it. I believe them.

I trusted you, JC. I trusted you to be a pastor. I trusted you to actually uphold the Christian lifestyle you preach on Tuesday and Sunday. But now I see that you fooled us. Because of you and those like you who have already been exposed, the way of truth will be slandered. I hope you grasp that.

I do not condone and I can no longer support a church whose senior pastor has not only been accused of child molestation, but who also abuses those in his congregation in other ways, including sexually.

We, as the True Church, cannot tolerate such egregious acts. And the other pastors and leaders who have covered for him are complicit in his sin and abuse.

The time is now for this to stop and for the abuses to come to light. I am praying for every victim. Lord, be their strong tower and everything they need.

‘PJC’ is not Jesus Christ. He is a man using his platform to selfishly steal what never belonged to him. The flock AND the the Brooklyn Tabernacle ALWAYS belonged to the Lord. God also removes lamp stands from its place among the churches.

I mourn for what have read here. In the natural, I am completely disappointed in the leadership. I am sure they believe they are doing what’s best for Brooklyn Tabernacle, but it is at the detriment of God’s Church. I pray for the salvation of their souls, even if they must be handed over to escape fire on judgement day. God does not take this lightly.

Lastly, to those of you who have given their service unto the Lord, it has been wonderful volunteering in ministry alongside you. Please have the courage and patience to read and listen to the testimonies on this website. They may not be your story, but it could be your friend, or your daughter, or son. Even if not, they are our brothers and sisters who were abused by the church they once called a refuge.

Be a light in the lighthouse.

These men laughed at the victim’s accusation of sexual abuse. They all know and are all complicit in the abuse. These are your leaders.

@themessenger  This is infuriating that the pastors know about this stuff.

Brooklyn Tabernacle Pastors and Board Members:

Go ahead and get your makeup ready for your interview. Clear your throat and prepare your written statement about ”all your regrets” about “not pushing harder” (or at all) amid accusations of abuse.

I saw this story and thought of your post.

The Sex-Abuse Scandal That Devastated a Suburban Megachurch

How you have said it seems somewhat funny-but we know it isn’t. So very sad. That is the way it ends up being played out.

Do all these Associate pastors even have a conscience? If it is about protecting the church,do they really believe that silence and ignoring is the best way?

The sex abuse victims especially hurt and suffer badly. They carry a physical and spiritual trauma.

And the name of Jesus Christ also suffers. They set the church up to be ridiculed.Because sooner or later, you can be guaranteed, the truth will be revealed. (What is amazing though is that even after truth comes out, members seem to rally around the pastors more than the victims!)

Look at the story now of that little girl Arabella McCormack. I think it would take a lot of audacity for anyone to say that they did not see or know something.

But I see that the ego can seem to convince one they are invincible. Pastor Jim Cymbala in his 11/20/2022 sermon appears to want to discredit and make fun. That doesnt matter. God knows the truth of all things.(Perhaps he “doth protest too much”?)

It is incredibly sad that PJC is in such darkness. Whether he was always so or have gone the way of evil for material gain, only he knows.

Interestingly PJC by his own words it would seem gives permission to judge the church.

So by your own words, you stand condemned,PJC.

        Incredibly sad.

PJC has no other choice but to try to discredit and make fun.

His hubris is second only to his contrived humility.

        It’s on his head.

        The word is “repentance”.

The Cross, the blood, the resurrection. Jesus part. Admit,believe,confess- repentance. Our part.

        All of it.

        Not “adjustment”.

I no longer feel comfortable going to this church anymore, after reading these allegations. I knew the “energy” (not to sound new age-ish) felt off after going back to church 3 months ago. ‘But I basically grew up in this church. It’s hard to read this stuff and then see PJC preach up there behind the pulpit. If you didn’t know a thing about the real deal, you’d think he’s being very sincere! That’s scary.

I hope all victims get their justice.

Can anyone tell me what sound biblical churches there are in NYC (with decent/accountable leadership)? You can email me at rickiseeker@gmail.com

Hi seeker. I am with you. I can’t go there either.

PJC touched my friend multiple times. She also grew up at BT and shes devastated and confused.

BT was everything we knew. I don’t know of a good church. I am still looking for one.

Okay I have to get used to quoting. LOL.

      @LovingJesus
I can only imagine the confusion your friend had, especially growing up attending that church. Just terrible. This is all still very surreal to me, to be very honest.

It’s sad that there aren’t enough decent churches to find. I was out the faith for a decade, and came back because I’m searching for the truth. So to see this foolishness is just…*huge sigh*.

Keep spreading the truth, y’all!!! I’ve tried sharing this forum with multiple people and they are on the “people can be lying” or “no church is perfect” and “why don’t people put their real names?” tip. Oh well.
